Finished in a durable gloss midnight black anodizing, the MMX shift knob is designed to withstand years of daily use without the wear commonly seen on factory or aftermarket leather shift knobs. The smooth billet construction provides a solid, mechanical feel in hand while complementing both modern and classic BMW interiors.
Weighing approximately 300 grams (10.5 oz), the added inertial mass helps reduce shift effort while improving shift engagement feel during spirited driving. Each kit includes interchangeable die-cast top inserts, allowing the shift knob to be configured with either a traditional 6-speed shift pattern or an MMX logo insert for a cleaner appearance.
